I am a business analyst, entrepreneur, technology enthusiast, and writer. I operate several small businesses and enjoy writing about business and technology.
I have B.Sc. in Marketing and Management as well as a Masters of Business Administration. In 2000 I pursued my passion for computers and technology by completing a BA in Computer Science.
Upon graduation I launched Adventures in Computing camps for kids. 2010 celebrated the 10th year of delivering the summer camps at Algoma University. Specializing in video game design, the camps provide a fun and educational learning experience for kids and teens.
In 2005, I completed a Certificate in Internet Marketing from the University of British Columbia, and qualified as a Certified Internet Marketing and Business Specialist through the International Internet Marketing Association. I also completed my Economic Development Certification through the Economic Development Association of Canada in 2007, at the University of Waterloo.
In addition to my entrepreneurial activities, I work as a Strategic Business Advisor for the Ontario government. My past experience includes finance/banking, marketing, management, web design, economic development, and teaching both computer science and business courses at the university and college level.
In my spare time I enjoy writing articles on business and technology for Fresh Magazine and my blog at www.digitaladventures.ca. I am also currently enrolled with The Writer’s Bureau, studying creative writing and novel writing. I hope to resume writing my first fiction novel very soon.
